Postmortem

Due to problems with Zayo (ISP), we lost our “DirectConnect” connection to AWS. This caused us to failover to 1st VPN connection. This connection was also faulty due to asymmetrical routing. There was a conflict with our 3rd VPN connection. We shut down the third VPN connection and restored traffic through the 1st VPN connection until the DirectConnect was restored.

Identified

We are currently experiencing sporadic network connectivity issues affecting the communication between our data center and AWS. The impact is intermittent but is affecting multiple areas of our services.
